Step-by-step guide

Add Hively to your email signature

Copy your personal Hively snippet, add it to your email signature, and check how it looks in a new message.

For: Team members and account administrators

Before you start

Each team member has their own rating links. Use your own snippet so feedback reaches the right person.

If your organisation manages signatures centrally, ask the person who manages them to add your personal Hively snippet.

1. Copy your personal snippet

In Hively, open Snippets and choose the style you want. Select and copy the rendered snippet for pasting into your signature.

Keep the contact details and branding already in your email signature. Add Hively underneath them.

2. Add it in your email app

Follow the instructions for the email app you use to send messages.

For other places to use a snippet, see snippet styles and uses. If the editor accepts only text, use your personal rating link.

3. Check the appearance

Compose a new message and a reply from the address you normally use. Confirm that your signature appears with your contact details and Hively snippet.

Some recipients’ email apps block remote images. Missing faces do not necessarily mean the signature was installed incorrectly.

A useful distinction: Checking the appearance does not verify feedback delivery. Clicking a rating face can create a real rating; avoid using it as a harmless setup test.

For missing faces, lost links or visible HTML code, follow signature troubleshooting.
