Step-by-step guide

Add Hively to a Yahoo Mail signature

Find Yahoo Mail’s signature settings and use a formatted snippet or personal text link.

For: Team members and account administrators

Choose your snippet

Open Snippets in Hively and copy your own displayed snippet, including the links and faces.

The steps below are for Yahoo Mail in a desktop browser. If the editor removes the snippet’s formatting or images, use the Plain Text snippet instead of repeatedly pasting HTML code into a visual editor.

Open Yahoo’s signature settings

Yahoo has different entry points for its new and older desktop interfaces.

  • New Yahoo Mail: open More options → Settings → Writing email.
  • Older Yahoo Mail: open Settings → More Settings → Writing email.

Enable the signature for your sending address, then paste the rendered snippet into the signature box beside your existing contact details. Yahoo’s guides cover the new interface and the older interface.

Inspect a received sample

Compose a new message and a reply, then send a sample to yourself to see what arrives.

Confirm that the signature appears and that the face links survived copying. If the editor or received message loses images, follow signature troubleshooting. A correct-looking editor does not guarantee the recipient’s app will display remote images.

Do not click a rating face as a formatting test; it can create a real rating. If you send from the Yahoo mobile app too, check its signature separately.
