Use a personal text link
A short invitation with your personal rating URL is a useful option for mobile signature editors that do not preserve images and formatting.
In Hively, open Snippets and choose Plain Text. Copy the displayed text and full URL for your own user. Do not copy the address behind a happy, satisfied or unhappy face: those links already specify a rating.
For example, add “How was my service? Share your feedback:” followed by the URL from your snippet. Keep the URL intact. See how personal rating links work.
Apple Mail on iPhone
Apple documents text-only Mail signatures on iPhone, so use the text invitation and URL rather than HTML code.
- Open Settings → Apps → Mail → Signature.
- Choose Per Account if different accounts need different signatures.
- Add your text and complete personal rating URL to the appropriate signature.
- Compose a new message and a reply, then send a sample to yourself to check what arrives.
See Apple’s current Mail settings guide. Older iOS versions may place Mail directly in Settings.
Other mobile email apps
Set the signature in the app you actually send from, then inspect a received sample from that app.
A signature installed in a desktop browser may not be the signature used by a mobile app. If your organisation inserts signatures centrally, ask the administrator whether mobile messages are covered before adding a second one yourself.
For graphical signatures on a computer, start with email-signature setup. Clicking a rating face can create a real rating; use appearance checks or arrange a deliberate test with your administrator.
