Before you start
Reporting is available to account administrators on paid plans. If you need a report and cannot access it, ask your account administrator.
For everyday feedback review, use My Ratings, All Ratings and the Leaderboard. Their available views depend on your role. Basic rating-page downloads and saved reports have different export scopes.
1. Choose a report
Open Actions → Reporting and select a report name to run it in your browser.
The standard reports include All Ratings, Account Summary, User Summary and a combined Leaderboard, with all-time and last-30-days versions. Review the report’s fields and filters before using its results.
2. Choose an export format
From the report’s Actions menu, choose Export as CSV or Export as HTML.
| Format | Use it for |
|---|---|
| CSV | Working with a single-part report in a spreadsheet. |
| HTML | Reading a report in a browser, including a combined multi-part report. |
A single-part CSV export includes the report’s full matching result set, rather than only the current browser page. A multi-part report has no combined CSV download in this menu; export its individual reports as CSV instead.
Build a custom report
Select Add Report and give it a clear name. Choose Detail fields for columns such as member, rating or date. Add Summary fields when you want grouped totals or percentages. Custom fields appear when available for your account.
Set the Date range, rating types, optional member/team, Rater Email/Domain, and any detail or active-member filters you need. Set the sort column and direction, then save and inspect the results. A similar standard report can help you choose the right fields.
For repeating reports, prefer a relative period such as Previous month. A Custom start and end date stays fixed each time the report runs. Buzz is an optional report type; include it deliberately when reporting on internal recognition.
Combine report sections
Select Add Multi-part Report, name the report, select its component reports and save. This brings existing sections together without changing their individual fields or filters.
Run the combined report in the browser or export it as HTML. Edit each component report if its own date range or columns need changing.
If Hively asks you to review the report’s sections, choose Edit report sections, select the available sections from your account and save. A removed or unavailable section must be replaced or deselected before the combined report can run or export.
Need the report regularly?
Choose Schedule from the report’s Actions menu. Set the Next run date, Frequency, comma-separated Recipients, and Formats, then select Schedule report.
Scheduled delivery runs for Premium accounts and is intended for around 8am in the account timezone, subject to processing and email delivery. Frequencies include One time, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly. Review recipients carefully: attachments contain the report data you selected.
Emailed attachments contain at most 1,000 rows per section. Use the in-app export for full results. A multi-part schedule can provide separate CSV attachments for its sections, even though the browser menu has no combined CSV option.
If an expected report does not arrive, check its next run date, recipients, account timezone and email delivery guidance. Large reports can exceed email limits; contact support with the report name and expected run date if delivery remains missing.
