Open Request rating
In Hively, open Actions → Request rating for the team member who should receive the feedback.
You can also use the available Actions menu on My Ratings or the Leaderboard. Account administrators can choose Team Member being rated on the request form. Check the person before sending; a request should relate to the service that customer received.
Requests must be for an active person in your own account whom you can access: yourself, a member of a team you lead, or an account member when you are an administrator. These permissions also apply when submitting a bulk list. Choose an available template and field set from your account or Hively’s predefined options.
Send to one customer
Use the Single form to prepare one invitation and inspect it before sending.
- Enter the recipient’s name and email address.
- Select a Template, then review the Subject line and Your message. Choose the template before editing the wording, because changing templates fills in its saved values.
- Review any available profile-picture or rating-page field options.
- Select Preview to inspect the message.
- When the recipient, team member and wording are correct, select Request rating to send it.
The placeholders [account name] and [team member name] in the subject or message are replaced when Hively prepares the request. The preview may still show these placeholders; the names are substituted when you create the request. Previewing does not send it. The Request rating button creates the request and queues the email.
Send to several customers
Select Bulk to use one message and template for a list of recipients.
Enter one recipient per line, in this format:
Alex Example, alex@example.test
Sam Example, sam@example.test
Choose the team member, template and wording, then use Preview. Check the whole recipient list before selecting Request ratings. If Hively reports invalid rows, correct and retry those rows; do not blindly resend the entire list because other rows may already have been accepted.
Limits and delivery
Rating-request allowances depend on your account’s plan and the number of requests used that month.
If Hively says your monthly limit has been reached, ask your account administrator to review the plan or wait for the next allowance period.
A created request is not proof that the recipient received or opened the email. An opt-out or delivery problem can prevent delivery. If a customer cannot find an expected request, check the address and ask them to check their inbox and junk folder; contact support@teamhively.com for help investigating rather than repeatedly resending it.
Reuse wording and review requests
Use View rating request list to return to the requests available to you. Administrators can review account-wide requests; other users see requests they have created.
For reusable wording and defaults, see rating-request templates. For a lighter invitation in normal correspondence, use an email signature or personal rating link.
