Choose a template when sending
The Template selector on a rating request fills in saved wording and settings for that invitation.
Select the template first, then review or change the request’s subject and message. The available settings can include a profile picture, language and the fields shown on the rating page. Choosing a company-focused message does not remove the need to select the correct team member being rated.
See sending rating requests for recipient details, previewing and sending. Editing one request’s wording does not edit the saved template.
Create a reusable template
Account administrators on paid subscriptions can create and manage custom templates in Rating Request Settings.
- Open Rating Request Settings and choose Add rating request template.
- Give it a name that explains its purpose, such as “After a support call”.
- Choose the language and review the Subject line and Your message.
- Review the profile-picture option and any available Fields on rating page setting.
- Use Preview, then Submit to save the template.
Use [account name] and [team member name] where you want Hively to insert those names when preparing a request. Saving a template does not send a request.
If these controls are unavailable, check that you are an account administrator and that the account has a paid subscription.
Edit or remove a custom template
Use Edit beside your custom template to change its saved wording and settings, then submit the changes.
The template list offers View for predefined templates; create a custom template when you need your own reusable wording. Use Remove and confirm when a custom template should no longer be offered. Removed templates appear with a Reinstate option.
Predefined templates are read-only. Custom templates can use available field sets from your own account or the predefined collection. If reinstating a removed template opens an error form, choose an available field set and save before reinstating it. Contact support if no editable selection resolves the error.
Changes affect subsequent use of the template, not emails already sent. Review an open request before sending if you have recently changed templates or settings.
Set the default
Use Set as default beside the template you want preselected for new rating requests.
The list marks the chosen template as Current default. Users can still select another available template while preparing a request. A default should be suitable for the account’s usual service interactions, with specific alternatives for other situations.
