Summary scores and detailed feedback
With the default access level, regular team members can view their own detailed ratings and the Leaderboard’s summary information. They cannot use this access to read other members’ individual rating details.
Account administrators can review account-wide feedback. Team leaders can review feedback for the teams they lead. This concerns signed-in access within Hively; separately published feedback or sharing features need their own review.
Choose an access level
An account administrator on a paid subscription can open Account → Profile, choose Team Member Access, then select Update.
| Setting | Regular team members can see |
|---|---|
| Own ratings and the Leaderboard | Their individual rating details, plus summary scores and rating counts on the Leaderboard. |
| Own ratings without the Leaderboard | Their individual rating details, without access to the Leaderboard. |
| No rating information | Neither their rating details nor the Leaderboard. Rating-related notifications are also restricted. |
The default is own ratings plus the Leaderboard. Free accounts do not offer this paid customisation control. Changing visibility does not remove the users or their distributed rating snippets.
What changes for team leaders?
Team leaders retain access to team feedback, but the account’s visibility choice can also limit which Leaderboards they can browse.
When the account selects own ratings without the Leaderboard for regular members, non-admin team leaders are limited to the Leaderboards of their own assigned teams. Administrators retain account-wide access.
If someone has unexpected access, review both their administrator status and team-leader assignments. A person with either role is not treated as a regular member for every access check. See roles and teams.
Notifications and missing controls
The rating-visibility rules also affect eligibility for related email notifications; enabling a notification preference does not override an access restriction.
If a member cannot see My Ratings, the Leaderboard or Notifications, ask the administrator to check the chosen level and the person’s role. For eligible emails that are missing, use email delivery help.
For details of a rating that the user is allowed to view, open My Ratings. Information shown depends on what the customer supplied and the account’s rating-page fields; a customer’s contact details are not guaranteed to be present.
