Change your displayed name
Open Users → My Settings, edit Name, then select Update name.
Changing your displayed name does not change the email address you use to sign in. If you also need to change that address, My Settings has a separate email-confirmation process. Follow your organisation’s guidance first if it uses SSO.
If an old name is still visible in an email signature that was copied previously, copy an updated snippet from Hively and replace that external copy. Saved text in another app does not automatically update with your profile.
Upload your profile picture
On the Leaderboard, select your own profile image to open Upload your picture.
Select the image under Your picture, then choose Upload. A clear square image works well for the small profile display. Review the result after uploading; your picture can appear on customer-facing pages and in snippets or messages that include it.
If you cannot reach the rating pages because your account restricts member access, ask the administrator to help with the picture. An administrator can use the image control for another user from the Leaderboard. Availability should not be inferred just from someone having a team-leader title.
Image format and size
Use a normal PNG, JPG or GIF image and keep the file reasonably small and clear at profile size.
A square crop is a useful starting point for a person’s photo. Hively creates smaller display versions, so oversized source files are unnecessary.
If an image fails, try a smaller PNG or JPG and check any error message. Contact support with the file type, size and affected upload screen if it still fails; do not send an entire customer record to explain an image problem.
Account and team logos
The company logo and a team’s logo have separate controls from a person’s profile photo.
An account administrator can open Account → Profile and select the company logo to upload a replacement. For a team logo, an administrator on a paid subscription can use Manage teams → Edit → Team logo and save the team.
Review which branding will appear for customers, especially where a team has its own name and logo. See teams and customer-facing branding.
