How-to guide

Share a rating on social media

Use the available sharing links and review customer permission and the public page first.

For: All Hively users

Choose suitable feedback

Share only feedback the customer has permitted you to publish, and review it for personal or confidential details. Hively’s sharing controls are intended for eligible Happy and WOW feedback; they are not a way to turn every private rating into a public testimonial.

Account administrators can review Sharing Tools under Configuration. Enabling it allows the permission option to appear for new eligible ratings. Check the rating itself rather than assuming that an older rating carries the same permission.

Use the sharing control

Where the rating offers Twitter or Facebook sharing icons, select the relevant control to open that service’s sharing flow. These are the labels currently shown by Hively; the destination service’s interface can differ from old support screenshots.

Review the destination profile or page, the link preview and the text before posting. Being signed into a social service does not necessarily mean the intended business profile is selected. If a legacy sharing control no longer works, contact support; do not substitute a private edit or rating-submission link.

Check the public result

Check the shared rating page while signed out, then review the actual social post. Customer-facing links are different from your private Hively rating-management page.

Withdrawing sharing permission or disabling a Hively feature does not remove an existing social post, screenshot or cached preview. Remove posts from the relevant service and ask support to check the Hively public link when visibility needs to change. For quotes embedded on your own site, see website widgets.
