What the code does
A Hively QR code encodes a link to a particular team member’s rating page. Customers scan it with a compatible phone camera or QR reader and open the link to leave feedback.
The code can be printed on a business card, name badge, desk sign or service handout. Customers still need an internet connection to open Hively and submit their feedback; the printed code does not collect ratings offline.
Get your own QR code
Open Snippets in Hively and choose QR Code for the person who should receive the feedback.
Save the displayed QR image using your browser’s image-save option, then insert that image into your document or design. Keep the original proportions, square pattern and surrounding clear space. Label it with the person or service it relates to and a short invitation such as “How was my service? Scan to share feedback.”
The code belongs to that team member. Do not reuse a colleague’s code with a different printed name. For more about attribution, see personal rating links.
Check a printed sample
Before printing a batch, scan a sample at the size and on the material customers will actually use.
Check that the phone recognises the code and that the opened rating page shows the intended person. Try the expected viewing distance and lighting; a code that is too small, stretched, cropped or blurred may not scan reliably. Opening this QR destination shows the general rating page; completing the rating flow submits feedback.
For setup checks, stop before submitting a rating. If a complete end-to-end test is needed, agree it with your administrator so the resulting feedback is recognised as a test.
When to replace a code
Replace printed material when it should point to a different team member, and recheck it after relevant account changes.
If the destination no longer works, ask your administrator to check the intended user is active and able to receive ratings. Download that person’s current code instead of trying to edit the encoded pattern yourself.
