Change the timezone used for your account’s feedback

Check the account timezone when rating dates or times look wrong, especially for people in different regions.

For: Account administrators

Why a rating time may differ from your clock

Hively uses the account’s timezone for rating timestamps in the main feedback views. People in different locations can therefore see the same account-local time rather than their own device’s local time.

An account administrator sets this shared value. A missing or invalid configured timezone can fall back to UTC in parts of the application.

Change the account timezone

Open Account → Profile, select the appropriate Timezone, then choose Update.

Choose the timezone your organisation wants to use consistently, rather than changing it each time a different person signs in. Check a known rating afterwards to confirm the display is what you expect.

A timezone change affects how times are interpreted or displayed; it does not mean the customer submitted the feedback again. If a report or scheduled email still appears to use an unexpected period, provide its name and the expected timezone to support so that specific workflow can be checked.

Ask for help with a mismatch

If a timestamp still looks wrong, contact support@teamhively.com with the account timezone, the affected page or report, and one example of the expected and displayed time.

Include the date as well as the time so that daylight-saving differences can be considered. Share only the details needed to identify the example, rather than a full customer conversation.
