How-to guide

Change the rating-page language

Choose an account or member language and keep signatures and custom fields consistent.

For: All Hively users

Choose the account language

As an account administrator on a paid plan, open Account → Profile, choose Language and select Update. Choose from the languages offered in your account.

This controls customer-facing defaults such as the rating page and thank-you wording. It does not translate the whole signed-in Hively application or automatically translate text you have written yourself.

Choose a member language

Under Users → Manage users, edit the member and choose their language. You can also choose a language when inviting a member. The account-default option lets the member follow the account’s language instead of maintaining a separate choice.

An explicit language in a rating link can override the member default. Check the actual link in the customer’s email if it still opens the old language.

Replace existing signatures

Text already pasted into an email signature does not change when you update Hively. Obtain a fresh snippet for the intended language and replace the signature in each sending application or centrally managed template.

For a member who sends in several languages, contact support for help with language-specific snippets. Keep separate signatures for the relevant sending contexts and test which page each opens; changing the member default alone is not a substitute for checking those links.

Review your own text and fields

Custom questions, messages and field labels need their own language review. Check Customization and the language of your field sets. Review a complete customer journey: the received signature, rating form and thank-you page.

An emailed customer confirmation is conditional on delivery checks; do not use its absence alone to judge whether a language setting saved.
