How-to guide

Remove test or incorrect ratings

Find a rating, confirm its removal, and understand the effect on feedback and scores.

For: Account administrators

Before deleting

Account administrators can remove ratings from All Ratings or a member’s rating-detail page. Team members who need a correction should ask their account administrator.

Use this for identifiable test responses, accidental submissions or feedback that genuinely does not belong in your results. Do not remove a rating merely because it is negative; it may reveal an issue worth resolving with the customer.

Check the member, date, rating and comment carefully. If you need a record of the decision, keep it before removing the rating. There is no restore control in the normal ratings interface.

Delete a rating

Open All Ratings, or find the member on Leaderboard and open their details. Use the period and filters to locate the exact response.

  1. Open More beside the rating.
  2. Choose Delete rating.
  3. Check the confirmation and confirm only if this is the intended response.

Repeat for any other test ratings after reviewing each one. Removing a user is a different action and is not a shortcut for removing their test feedback.

What changes

The rating is removed from the active feedback results and excluded from score calculations. Hively keeps an internal removal record; this control is not a promise of complete data erasure.

Previously downloaded files and already-sent emails are not rewritten. Reload the relevant page and check the same period when reviewing the updated score. If results still look wrong, contact support with the member and date rather than deleting more feedback to adjust the total.
