The following changes can be made to the fields on the rating page by customers on paid plans:

The core fields (‘Please comment’, ‘Your name’ and ‘Your email’) can be set as required or optional.

Core fields can be removed from the rating page.

The labels of core fields can be changed.

Fields can be added to the rating page.

Sets of custom fields can be added for languages other than English.

Setting core fields as required or optional

If you want to stick to the core fields, but want to make one or more field mandatory for Happy, Satisfied or Unhappy ratings, do the following.

Select Fields from the main menu under the heading Configuration.

Click the Edit link next to Standard Fields in the list of field sets.

For each rating type (Happy, Satisfied and Unahppy) select which fields you would like to be mandatory in order for a rater to leave a rating.

Click submit.

Adding, removing and modifying the fields on the rating page

In order to make more substantial changes to the fields on the rating page than changing their required status you will need to create a new Field Set and set it as the default, as follows:

Select Fields from the main menu under the Configuration heading.

Click the Add Field Set button.

Set a name for the Field Set such as ‘Custom Fields’ and a language and click Submit. This will create a new Field Set for you containing copies of the three fields in the standard field set.

Add, remove or modify the fields in the Field Set as needed from this page.

Click Submit.

Now, you should see your Field Set in the list. If you want this set to be used by default, click Set As Default next to the Field Set’s name in the list. The View Rating Page button can now be used to see your fields on the rating page.

Including a dropdown list or text box on the rating page

Fields on the rating page can display as either a text field (the default), text box or dropdown list. When adding or editing a field within a Field Set, select the Field Type that you require. If you select ‘dropdown list’, a subsequent field will be shown where you can enter the values that are to be included in the list.
The list’s values should be entered using the pipe character as a separator. E.g. ‘Apples | Oranges | Bananas’. To enter a pipe character on a standard keyboard, hold down [shift] and click the slash (‘\’) key which should be above the [enter] key.

When users get a WOW from a customer they receive the WOW badge, +1 point and extra recognition via email for receiving a WOW. We have designed the WOW to recognize exceptional service that stands out even more than making a customer happy. While it deserves extra recognition, it’s important the rating scale stay simple and weighted evenly with only 3 options.
